NOCN Qualifications
All the qualifications offered by OCNNWR are approved by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and are included in the National Qualification Framework (NQF). This means they are fundable through the Learning and SKills Council.
Our qualifications use the NOCN brand which is used by all the OCNs across the country for nationally recognised qualifications. The National Open College Network (NOCN) is an awarding body approved by the QCA.
All of our qualifications are made up of Units of Assessment which can be combined into different sizes of qualifications from Awards to Diplomas. Using this method enables you to build a qualification that meets your learners' needs. They offer learners the opportunity to gain credit for their achievement from small steps to full sized Diplomas.
The flexible qualifications are offered at all levels from Entry to Level Three and can form the basis of return to learn courses, full Level Two Diplomas and, for example, specialist courses in Employability Skills, Languages, Skills for Life and Functional Skills.
Each Qualification comes with its own Guide which details how the qualification can be used and how to design the best routes for your learners.
Full details of all NOCN qualifications can be found on the nocn website
